From
http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipod/family/ipod_shuffle?afid=p202|GOUSB4876342&cid=OAS-US-KWG-iPodShuffle-US,
it looks like it's the 2nd generation iPod Shuffle. I see that it comes
in a 4GB capacity, so that would be another way to identify it.
Also, don't forget that the 4th generation iPod Nano came out a while
ago, and it uses the same technology to get talking menus, folders and
files.
I don't have one myself, but from my experiences with Rockbox and from
what I've read, once you've got the voice clips and music loaded, it
should be a breeze to use. You will need iTunes 8 on your PC/Mac to
generate and load the voice clips. I don't use iTunes myself, but it may
take some getting used to if you're not familiar with working with media
libraries and playlists. you'll need JFW 10 or the necessary fixes for
JFW 8 or JFW 9 to get JFW to work well with iTunes. Again from what I've
read, you're experience with iTunes is even better if you use jTunes as
well.

Hi,
Is the new accessible Ipod player have a model number? Does anyone know how
easy it is to learn to operate for a totally blind person? Thanks.
Sincerely,
Lauren
