The Delta 24/96 which I use has a small breakout box, or lead, terminating in a number of phono plugs - or could be sockets - and the only way to access the SPDIF input/output facility of the card is via these leads. As for accessability of the patchbay and mixer and settings, that is good, and although I'm using Window-Eyes, JFW would obviously have no problems here. There might be scripts too, but you'd have to search in the usual places for them. I think support under Windows 7 Beta is asking a lot. I'm no techy but driver support tends to come very late on in the pre-release and even after a release of a new OS. If you really want to know then I'd suggest going to M-Audio's site. I'm still using XP Pro for what that's worth. Ray. Robert Nelson wrote: Other considerations aside, make sure to buy a Delta card that has a break out box. I bought the Delta 1010LT which comes with a bunch of break out cables rather than a break out box. They are about 6 inches long and hang off the back of the card. Trying to work out which is an input cable and which is an output cable is a cause of frustration and aggravation. The Delta 1010LT has its own applet in Control Panel which consists of 4 or 5 tabs of check boxes and sliders which are, for the most part, accessible with Jaws.
