I've just procurred an Acer, spire 1; It has a local disk of 8. something, gbs; I would like to add to this 8 gb disk, What is the less output of money? Is it less cost to buy a thumbnail or a additive to my already 8. something, local disk?

gb  dis on thelittle  critter, *Acer*  It's a spire1, and has3 usb plugins, 
maybe someone is familiar with this pc?  I'm wondering if the usb thumbnail 
drives would be less money to  buy than that of the local drive addition? 
*upgrading to a 16 gb? It might be wise to wait for these thumbnail  drivesto 
go on sale?  A suggestion would be welcomed as I'm new in these fields;  TXS;
