Hello,

I've got a quick question regarding multitrack recorders. I purchased a Tascam
DP004, because of everything I read about it seemed the most accessable for a
totally blind person like myself; I like the dedicated knobs for pan and
setting levels. It sounded easy to operate and I wouldn't need too much sited
assistance; my goal is to record my music (steel guitar, acoustic bass, lead
guitar, fiddle and ukulele) all onto separate tracks and mix independant of any
sited help.

I like the unit and do not intend to give up on it just yet; the menu
navigations are rather tricky; I thought that you simply pressed a button,
recorded, rewound and then recorded further tracks.

How easy is this recorder for a totally blind person to operate? Can it be
done? Is there a better recorder you can suggest if not the Tascam that will
give me multitrack recording and all of the features of the Tascam but is easy
to operate? I'd prefer to not have to mess around in menus if I can help it,
and that's why I picked up the unit, because it said you didn't really have to
fool around with menus to record.

Thanks for all of your help and patience in answering my questions.
