Bruce,

So use the work-around I described earlier. The program's default destination is My Documents\My Music (at least, that's where I eventually found the first tracks I ripped with version 12.). So let the program rip your tracks to there, then cut and paste them where you really want them.

Blessed Be,

If your synthesizer pronounces them identically, instruct your customized pronunciation dictionary that Dana=dayna.

I have no sighted assistance at my disposal, so I guess I'm SOL. But
thanks for the explanation, it now makes a great deal more sense.

Bruce,

Unfortunately, that way of selecting a destination folder HAS become
common
in many graphically-oriented programs. Jukka introduced it into Easy CDDA
Extractor in version 11.0, which is where I first encountered it. So,
when I
put in version 12, I knew all I'd have to do was to get sighted
assistance
to find the correct icon to label, and then proceed as described below.

Good luck.

Thanks, Dana. That's what I needed to know to at least understand what
I'm up against. Now I know how he's done it. And he says that's a
standard control.
