I don't use Roxio so can't be really specific. However I can answer one question for you. All audio files are treated the same by every burner software I've used. Example, Nero has a choice of burning an audio or data CD. The audio may be music or just speech--it doesn't matter as the finished CD is the same as far as file formats are concerned. Just as an audio tape can contain either music or spoken word and the player doesn't care which. So don't let that one confuse you--just burn all your audio CDs as though they are music if that's the only choice you have. They'll play back just fine in any ordinary CD player. Hope this helps.
