hello friends, i am using sound forge eight, i am endeavouring to record an audio file, i am using a mixer to which i have connected a flash card recorder, and i am using a microphone, the line out of my mixer goes to the line in of my sound card, i have followed all the instructions concerning the line in volume on my sound card, it is down to thirty per cent, i have regulated the master control on the mixer, and the channel dealing with the recorder, everything sounds ok as i listen through my headphones, but on playing it back, wow, it's just crashing loud, and distorted, i have been using this mixer for a couple of years now and have had no problems, however, i do have skype, could that have anything to do with the problem??? something is turned up somewhere, can anyone help, would really appreciate any suggestions, thanks joe.
