Hi Donald. To my knowledge, there are no free audio editors. They will all
cost you and the cost varies widely. However there is a trial period with
Gold Wave which gives you full functionality for a limited period. If you
were able to get your work done with in the prescribed time limit then it
wouldn't cost you anything. I don't know if you use a mouse and hence have
some sight or a screen reader in which case, you would have to also install
the scripts to help you use the programme efficiently. Walter.

Subject: looking for free editor

I am looking for a free sound editor that will let me take songs off a
cassette tape and put them in to separate files.

Donald
