Here as promised is a short sample of a recording made at a training session around aural history. Not made under ideal conditions as there's a fair amount of traffic noise coming through an open window. It was a hot evening.

I've done a straight transfer to Sound Forge with just normalising to -10 db speech. Comprssion could be applied to even out volumes. Hope it is of some help as an example. Ray.
