Hi everyone.
I have just perchased a pair of binaural mikes (sound professionals SP-TFB-2
mikes) and have them connected to an Edirol R09 recorder. When I am
recording I some times get a quiet or loud buzzing sound. Why is this
happening and what could it be.
Below is a link to an audio file which illustrates this.

Any help would be greatly appreatiated.
Thank you
Yours sincerely
Richard Howarth

Hi Alex, your best bet is to install software like GSPlayer on your PAC
Mate, and then use Shoutcast streaming.

I'm not sure how much you already have set up in terms of streaming, so if
you need more info on setting up the stream I'm sure we can provide that for
you.

Hi all, my father took some movies of me and he used a HD digital camera.
The problem is when we play it on a non wide screen TV the picture is
squashed. I was wondering if there was either a plug-in for soundforge
windows media etc. or program that could convert this to be played on a non
digital sorse. Thanks.

Hi1

I have these now scanned, if anyone's interested in a look then email
me privately and I'll send them along. Note that much of the
documentation seems to be figures and the text is written in Chinese
English <smile>.

HI Everyone!

Ok, as list members would probably know, I have a TV Tuner card and
I'm enjoying it but I'm having problems with Winamp playing MPG files,
Winamp will skip parts of the file and "close" unpredictably. Also
sighted people have told me that the video stays still, from what I'm
lead to believe the first picture shown from the video file on the
screen stays put as the video playing progresses, has anyone had this
sort of problem.

Now other people from this list have told me that Windows Media Play
has improved considerably so I thought I'd give it a look and I have
to admit, its not bad but one question, can you direct audio from WMP
to another device or sound card rather than the Windows default device?

Hi all,
I want to purchase a good voice recorder, and some good stereo, possibly
binaural microphones to go with it. The mics have to have clips to attach
them to a shirt collar, glasses etc, and they need to have good sound
quality. I want to make recordings that when I listen back to them the audio
sounds just like it did when I was listening to it with my own ears. I do
not, however, want to have to spend thousand's of dollars on the equipment.
Thanks for any suggestions anyone can offer,

Hi all,

>From all indications, Windows Media 11 should support the playback of dvd
media, both the old school variety and hd dvd's. However, I am unable to get
wmp to play back the audio ... video may be coming through but I have no
sight so ...

I've set up wmp to be the default player for dvd media, and I've also made
this the action the drive should perform when a dvd disc is inserted.

wmp does open, but no sound is forthcoming. I can locate the list view
indicating the correct name of the dvd disc, but I can get no further.

Help me end my long separation from dvd movies. I'm going through
withdrawal!

Thanks in advance,
Scott

Hi Scott,
Can you hear the audio when you play any other content in Windows Media
Player? Like an MP3 file for instance. I have a similar problem, where video
is playing on the screen but there is no audio. This happened when I
upgraded to WMP11, and downgrading to WMP10 did not fix the issue. I use
Winamp for playing media files though, and Power DVD to play DVD's, so if
you cannot fix the problem there are 2 pieces of software that may be useful
to you.
