Hi everyone. I have just perchased a pair of binaural mikes (sound professionals SP-TFB-2 mikes) and have them connected to an Edirol R09 recorder. When I am recording I some times get a quiet or loud buzzing sound. Why is this happening and what could it be. Below is a link to an audio file which illustrates this. www.htmlpro.co.uk/Downloads/Index.html Any help would be greatly appreatiated. Thank you Yours sincerely Richard Howarth

I'm not sure how much you already have set up in terms of streaming, so if you need more info on setting up the stream I'm sure we can provide that for you. The problem is when we play it on a non wide screen TV the picture is squashed. I was wondering if there was either a plug-in for soundforge windows media etc. or program that could convert this to be played on a non digital sorse. Thanks. Ok, as list members would probably know, I have a TV Tuner card and I'm enjoying it but I'm having problems with Winamp playing MPG files, Winamp will skip parts of the file and "close" unpredictably. Also sighted people have told me that the video stays still, from what I'm lead to believe the first picture shown from the video file on the screen stays put as the video playing progresses, has anyone had this sort of problem. Now other people from this list have told me that Windows Media Play has improved considerably so I thought I'd give it a look and I have to admit, its not bad but one question, can you direct audio from WMP to another device or sound card rather than the Windows default device? ****************************** Dane Trethowan From Melton Victoria Australia mailto:Dane Trethowan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> phone +61 3 9005 8589 Fax/TTY +61 3 9743 7954 mobile/sms: +614 418 773 532 MSN: [EMAIL PROTECTED] skype: callto:grtdane12 ****************************** ------------------------------ Message: 5 Date: Wed, 27 Aug 2008 16:18:23 +0100 From: James Scholes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Microphone and Recorder Advice Wanted To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], <pc-audio@pc-audio.org> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Hi all, I want to purchase a good voice recorder, and some good stereo, possibly binaural microphones to go with it. The mics have to have clips to attach them to a shirt collar, glasses etc, and they need to have good sound quality. I want to make recordings that when I listen back to them the audio sounds just like it did when I was listening to it with my own ears. I do not, however, want to have to spend thousand's of dollars on the equipment. Like an MP3 file for instance. I have a similar problem, where video is playing on the screen but there is no audio. This happened when I upgraded to WMP11, and downgrading to WMP10 did not fix the issue. I use Winamp for playing media files though, and Power DVD to play DVD's, so if you cannot fix the problem there are 2 pieces of software that may be useful to you.
