Yes, really, however most of the time it does it's job, ok. I've only 
seen it happen with two books where it did not copy all the needed 
files from one folder into one it created on the card for the stream. 
Easier to move or copy folder(s) from your PC to the card, though the 
advantage of the stream companion software is that it will keep track 
of how much room is available on the card, and you can keep track of 
all the books that take up X room, and can illuminate certain books 
and then add smaller ones, etc. for the final tally, as close to the 
card limit as possible. If this efficiency doesn't interest you, then 
don't use the companion software, maybe except for making the notes 
created on the stream into *.wav files.
