To answer some questions and clarify my view on posting podcast and other such announcements to the pc audio list, it is OK with me if someone wants to post an occasional message about a podcast or a webcast here. Where I object and I think most do, is when such a message is posted every week or more often. If the announcement is made once and someone is really interested in it, they should there after know where it is and how to listen. For example, I don't think anyone will object when Rick posts a message about a new review he has done or something simillar. However, if he posts over and over again about the same podcast then it becomes a real nuisance.
