Hello Josh, >From time to time, the lacer lens in those things will need to be cleaned. I had a CD ROM drive that wouldn't burn CD's. Some CD's, it wouldn't play either. I only had it for more then 2 years. But when I put a lacer lens cleaning disc in it, I didn't have those problems any more. Maybe you should try that and see if that solves your problem.
