Hi John:

Nope, not  captcha or images.  Window Eyes  can now  speak to other 
apps that support  comm automation.  Simply, if your program is 
customizable,  it is a good bet it will talk through this convention 
with other applications, and thus could be made more accessible to 
speak  info for a blind person.  Worth looking into if you're a programmer.
