Hello Chuck you have to go to the start menu and access set prograns and defaults. Once you open that up check for the cunstum option when it is collapse hit enter to expand the list and there be when you tab around an option to check a player to am ke it your default there are two options one option is to check a player and then you can check for winnamp to make it your default as well, however I found out that it will all other audio extension but not mp3's in winnamp unless ou unless you hit apliation on the file or track listing that has mp3 extension and enquen it to winnamp then the mp3's will play in winnamp. Tht's my obsevations, I only just dwonlaoded the new version a week ago. hoe this helps
