I have multiple files on my Zen Stone and I can fast forward and rewind
through a particular file with no problems. If you accidentally hit the
center button while pressing down on the right or left side of the
navigation wheel then you might jump to the next or previous file. Also,
if you don't push on the edge of the navigation wheel and keep pressing
down firmly, you might jump to the next song. Once in a great while,
I'll be fast forwarding through a file and my finger will slip resulting
in me losing my place. It may also be the case that you need the latest
firmware, although I never experienced the problem you describe, even
with the older firmware.
