Hi listers, Thanks for that good article. I find that dishwashing soap and warm or hot water works best. I've had some of my cds for over 20 years and I've had to wash them off occasionally because of scratches. Deffinitly playing them in alternate cd players helps a lot. A big problem that I had 20 years ago I think was that I had one cd player and even when you washed off the cd correctly, that player would still find the mistake. Sometimes, you just have to buy a replacement because cleaning and playing in alternate players doesn't help. A good used cd record store is a good place to look for used cds, or even half.com. Denny
