Hi, It's very loud with clean power. The voltage switch is on the bottom I'd get some sighted help to make sure it's on the right voltage for the US. The only think I can't figure out how to do is set up the radio presets.
Otherwise, great radio...Kg ----- Original Message ----- From: "Casey" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC Audio" <Pc-audio@pc-audio.org> Sent: Friday, February 08, 2008 10:37 PM Subject: the panasonic rx-ed50 I will soon be the owner of one of these units. The Panasonic rx-ed50 I purchased it threw sams store in Illinois and now what I would like to know is. What will have to change with the radio once I get it if anything? I mean will I have to change the voltage so that I can use it hear in the united states or is that already done for the ones that they sell hear in the united states? If I will have to adjust that do I do this before plugging it in or is it okay to plug the unit in first and then change the voltage setting on it? Now if I do have to change it where do I find the place to change it? For those that have this boom box do you like the way it sounds and does it give you the power that you wouldn't find in a regular boom box? Also how is the distortion on this unit? I mean can you get it pretty loud before it start to distort on you or does it handle very nicely at loud volumes? I understand that this isn't a stereo but from what I have heard about the unit. I got the impression that it will go nicely loud and have nice sound and make good recordings off of cd's to tapes quite nicely and have a good tape off of that cd as well. So all assistance with this unit will be a big help and thank you all ahead of time for any assistance that I may get hear on the list.
