Hi Jed, The modern skin has never been good with screen readers. When you've uninstalled these various versions of winamp, did you remove everything in the winamp folder under program files? Usually it'll leave some files behind in there when you uninstall. Try uninstalling, totally removing the winamp directory, and re- installing. i've got 5.51 on my windows pc here, and have no issues like you're describing at all. none whatsoever.
