You will need a USB soundcard or USB headset, then you will need to set your 
default device in control pannel as the new USB soundcard or headset. 
finally, you will need to set the media player that you are using to go 
through the other soundcard, not the new device. In winamp you hit control 
p, then look under plugins for the output item, then tab twice, make sure 
direct sound output is selected, tab once to configure button, hit space or 
enter to activate button, use jaws cursor to locate a line of text that 
starts with a number, for example 02. then the name of a device, press the 
left click key stroke in jaws, then use pc cursor to select the old on-board 
soundcard and hit enter, then hit close button in winamp preferences.
