Thank you, I will definitely check it out. In the meantime, what I did as a temporary band aid is to disable the D drive under device properties and the other drive G, was seen, no conflict. It's good I can reenable my D drive, when I wish, but it is a working band aid, for now. thank you

Also, make sure you have all the relevant updates for that version, there were quite a few as I remember but then it's been awhile. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of stever2525 Sent: Friday, December 21, 2007 6:45 AM To: PC audio discussion list. Subject: re: can't select correct drive to burn with using roxio6 Creator Thank you for suggesting checking under options which I did. What I found is: general, internet options and overburn. I then chose to burn with Winamp, which I never had done before, and it worked. It solved my immediate problem, but didn't address my Roxio problem, which I would like to resolve. thank you reply: date Thu, 20 Dec 2007 05:23:25 -0500 From: "albert griffith" < [EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: RE: can't select correct drive to burn with using roxio6 Creator Classic To: "'PC Audio Discussion List'" < pc-audio@pc-audio.org> I think there's a permanent setting in the options menu. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of stever2525 Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2007 5:15 AM To: PC audio discussion list. Subject: can't select correct drive to burn with using roxio6 Creator Classic I am using Roxio 6, Creator Classic, with XP Home and JAWS5.1. I have used this program for more than 3 years without any problem, but I always used drive D, the CD drive to burn with. By default, it is set for the D drive, which now is having problems, and I want it to be the external drive G. When in Creator Classic, I choose drive properties and I can see my g drive, but when I go back to burn, drive D is selected and I can't find a way of stopping this. Please help, thank you.
