Thank you for suggesting checking under options which I did. What I found
is: general, internet options and overburn.
I then chose to burn with Winamp, which I never had done before, and it
worked. It solved my immediate problem, but didn't address my Roxio problem,
which I would like to resolve.
thank you

I think there's a permanent setting in the options menu.

Subject: can't select correct drive to burn with using roxio6 Creator
Classic

I am using Roxio 6, Creator Classic, with XP Home and JAWS5.1.
I have used this program for more than 3 years without any problem, but I
always used drive D, the CD drive to burn with.
By default, it is set for the D drive, which now is having problems, and I
want it to be the external drive G. When in Creator Classic, I choose drive
properties and I can see my g drive, but when I go back to burn, drive D is
selected and I can't find a way of stopping this.
Please help, thank you.
