High Kevin, I agree with you 150%. At the risk of repeating myself, MP3's are ok, but they sound grainy on vacuum tube audio equipment. I don't know about all the other audio file types you spoke of, but I am looking for an ipod that will play WMA lossless and WAV audio files. Because I will be jacking this in to a tube amp that I will build from an S5 electronic kit. I will be building my own speakers. So that I will have something really nice to listen to in my office at work. MP3's are for some or most people, but I don't thank it's for me.
