You could probably get the sandisc sansa e200 or c200. Don't get an ipod, --they're too expensive, and when you can get a mp3 player for cheaper than that, you shouldn't need to pay that much- but then again, how big do you want it to be? I currently own an ipod video, which I payed $400 for. The sansa c250, 2 gigs of memory but with expansion, was about 60 bucks. Rockbox works splendidly on the ipod video, and a note, if your getting rockbox right away, don't bother getting warranty. This is just a waiste of money, as its voided when you instal rockbox. - Tyler visit my website! http://www.valiant.789mb.com

Seems in pretty well all instances installing this software, well, firmware modification, invalidates the warranty that comes with players. Sure if you do a search Google will come up with the places you can download it. (All this from someone who's not cool enough to own an IPod or any other MP3/AAC player, though I've got a Zenstone.)
