hi.  what exactly is this playlist loader you guys are talking about?
Actually, that really doesn't have anything to do with file associations.
What you need to do, Steve, is go into your windows media player and 
set it so it won't play the type of file you're trying to get Winamp 
to play.  It really does have trouble with some files like .asx, or 
.asf. chances are, if you copied the file into Winamp's open location 
and it still didn't work, you may have to do a bit of further 
investigation and find an  alternate address you can use.
