But what I am wondering, is once you record the stream, can you listen
later -- and is there a way to tell that the second stream you
mentioned is not recording?

Also, does tech support tell you anything useful about this?

I am thinking of buying the replay a/v as I am using Vista and there
seems to be no way out since total recorder will no longer work with
Windows Media player.
