If a screen reader is active when you run GoldWave, the status visual becomes a text box that gives the elapsed time, the current status, and the peak levels. The peak levels are given in parenthesis and are updated only while holding the Ctrl key. If you tab to the text box and press D, the values change from percentages to decibels.
