No, I'm only using the 1 GB version.  At least here in the UK, the 2 GB
version seems to be just about twice the price of the 1 GB version, so there
doesn't seem much benefit in buying the 2 GB version.  I think two of the 1
GB players might be a better bet, so at least if you lose one of them, you
still have the other to listen to.

caroline, are you using the two gigabyte version?? i know with the one
gigabyte model it picks up where you left off which is really handy in an
audio book, i am seriously thinking of purchasing the two gigabyte version,
the radio side of it doesn't really  interest me, and i wonder if there is
provision for an external mike for the voice recorder? or am i expecting too
