That would explain it. For example, when I'm editing vinyl, I use the cursor keys to move the slice of sound that I want to work with for working on specific clicks and pops. There may be other ways, but that's how I've learned to do it. That worked fine with 6 through 8. With 9, it doesn't do anything at all.

While control with the arrow keys won't work for me, the arrow keys work fine. In a way I view control with the arrow keys not working an improvement, since the command was ambiguous. If you had markers set, control with the arrow keys would move you between them, whereas if you didn't, you'd move by slightly larger amounts than with just left and right arrow on their own. left and right arrow on their own work fine for me. I use Sound Forge and Studio Recorder to record all kinds of things in Windows Vista, and they work very well. Some sound card drivers are apparently better than others, but you get that with new operating systems until things sort themselves out.
