Hello:

The following is from the FreeVerb_DirectX.zip Readme file:

HOW TO USE FREEVERB
-------------------
If you are updating a previous installation, just copy the contents of the
FreeverbX folder over the contents of your previous FreeverbX folder.

If this is your first installation of FreeverbX then, after unzipping
freeverbx.zip, move the "FreeverbX" folder to a place where you will ALWAYS
keep it, and then double click on one of the two "activate" files, depending
on what system you have. FreeverbX should then be available to your
favourite DirectX enabled audio applications. Do not move the FreeverbX
folder after installation. "Activate" assumes that windows is installed in
C:\ if this is not the case then edit the . Future versions will have a more
friendly installer. I just haven't learnt how to use InstallShield yet.
Sorry.

Once you have loaded up Freeverb into your audio software, then simply use
"Room size"
to get the size of the room you want, and use the "Damping" control to get
the softness of sound that you require. The "Mix" controls the blend between
original and effected sound.

That's it!
