Hi, Jose. Not sure if ripping is possible with the free Winamp, but with Winamp Pro, I can rip the average CD in about 5 or 6 minutes.
Just insert the CD, go to the Winamp Library. From there, arrow down through the tree view and find your CD or DVD drive. Once you find this, it will likely initiate a CDDB query to find your CD. If it gives you a list of matches, select the right one and press spacebar or enter on "Accept Match". Once that's all done, tab past the track list about three times to the "Rip" button. Before you start ripping, you'll want to select the "Settings" option from the menu after you've activated the Rip button. Make sure you have your naming convention set, and your desired directory for the files. Once that's all done, either press the "Rip" button again and select "Rip All Tracks" or go back to the track list and use standard windows commands to select the ones you want...Once they're selected, tab back to the "Rip" button, activate it, and select "Rip Selected Tracks". As I mentioned in a previous message, David's scripts make this a whole lote easier in 5.35...Jim Grimsby's scripts are great, too, but don't seem to work right (for me, anyway) after 5.33.
