Some ISPs are using rather aggressive filtering and pc-audio.org has been put on some spam lists. Apparently there are many ways the software determines what's spam and what isn't. One method used is if a message has more than a few recipients the sending address automatically is listed as a spam address. The pc-audio list bounces messages that have more than five recipients but even when this bounce occurs, it seems like the sending domain or IP address goes on a spam list anyway.
I'd like to ask that when you send a message to the pc-audio list that you do not put more than a couple e-mail addresses in the "TO" "CC" or the "BCC" fields. I'm sure this is inconvenient for those of you who post announcements to several e-mail lists and I hope you won't stop posting them to the list. However, once a domain or IP address is on a spam list it is a lot more inconvenient for me to try getting it removed. If anyone has any suggestions on helping to prevent people from getting blocked from the list please let me know.
