Chuck,
The antenna would have to be configured to that particular unit in order to 
get the maximum performance out of that particular transmitter. They may 
even suggest an antenna that they have worked with that will do the job. In 
going to the website I think that they had mentioned an antenna that went up 
about 20 feet.
