i don't agree, there are many situations where messages cannot be filtered, for example from my job computer I can check my personal e-mail just via web, and if messages do not have the correct subject tag, it's confusing. Or, most of situations, checking it from my pocket pc well, I could put a filter also in the e-mail via web, but it's so complicated, and unfortunately on GMail, they put the "html only" version just to read and write messages, for the other options, filters included, you must use the standard version, totally unfriendly to screen readers so it's hard to click on folders. I have this problem here and on blinux-list in these situation, till I read the complete subject line, I have no way to understand if message is personal or from a list.
