Doc, I've never actually used multiple instances of Winamp. So I'm talking theoretically here. But, if you check that check box, I believe you should be able to run two entirely separate instances of Winamp, in separate windows. From what you say below, it sounds as if you played one file, and then tried to play a second, in the SAME instance of winamp. You would need to play each in its own instance of Winamp, of course. Also, of course, your sound card would need to be able to handle the multiple outputs, simultaneously.
