Well, I don't think I'd call it a disaster, just VERY awkward and annoying to 
use, especially if you have multiple sound cards and a screen reader. I do 
think I'll uninstall it. 

I don't understand why Screamer doesn't allow one to save to a .wav file. I 
mean, how difficult could it have been to have programmed that option?

  Screamer.  SoundTap is an NCH product, the makers of Express Burn.  I would 
  suggest you uninstall SoundTap.  It has its own uninstall program on the 
  hard drive in the NCH\SoundTap folder.  Good luck.
