Allison,

Try the combination of AnyDVD and CloneDVD2.

They are, on the whole, quite accessible and automatically compress the 
source files to fit on to  a DVD.  Clone DVD will burn dual layer disks if 
you have a DVD9 burner.

AnyDVD  unlocks the disk and CloneDVD does the copying.

They are not free but the price is quite reasonable because there are 
updates every few weeks at no extra expense.
