I use WMP 11 just the same as I did on version 10 with no notable problems 
using JFW 6.2 and windows Media Center 2005. so, feel free to give it a 
shot.

if you can get to it, you can turn on classic menus in windows media player 
11.
you have to tab and arrow until you get to it. once you select the classic 
menus,
you should be fine.
