Hi all,
I am hoping for some help on determining what to buy to make good
recordings from a computer, television, radio or the like. I was thinking
of getting an excellent DVD player/burner, but I really don't need the
video ability, and am actually much more interested in the quality of the
audio. I just don't know what goes into determining the quality of such a
recording. For example, with the computer, I have seen reference made to
sound cards. How do I determine if my sound card will impact the
recording process, and also how good my particular card is?

I have been thinking of an Olympus recorder. Is that something that I can
wire into a computer, television, radio, etc?

I would like to take such recordings and feed them into a great stereo
sound system and be thrilled with the results. So any pointers would be
very helpful.

Thanks much,

TerriLynne
