OK, I'm probably speaking completely out of turn, but here goes.
Just a question. is it possible that the "what you hear" option has 
been killed by Microsoft? I know that this has happened in Vista, at 
least to those computers that have been updated with new drivers 
written to do so. I'm just throwing this out, because I am hoping the 
answer is a big NO! <g>. But you never know. I fully expect for my 
trusty Audigy Platinum to be crippled any day now. I really don't 
know if this is even happening to users of XP, I'm just kind of 
fishing for answer. Can't you tell?
