Subject: Re: mad plugin

Hi Joe,

And glad someone elsse is interested in the mad plugin. I've been using it
for the past year or so, and noticed a little difference in
16 bit mode. Then I discovered the 24 bit setting and Winamp, got both mad
and Winamp on the same page, and I've never looked back.

The first thing you need to do is to find the now playing options in the
preferences dialog box, and check the 24 bit box. Next go to the mad
configure dialog box, and to the decode tap. Then look for resolution. Set
your resolution to 24 bit. Then go to equalization, and link eq to Winamp.
After going through all that, you should be all set.

This thing really shines with mp3 files above 160kb. Give it a shot, I think
you'll like it if you really give it a chance.

If you need any further help, just let me know. I do have what I believe to
be the latest version if you need it.
