Hi amy As others suggested, download the latest version of Winamp, available at:
http://www.whitestick.co.uk/progs/winamp532_full.exe That's a direct link to the installer. Ok, after you install it, what you'll want to do is go to the preferences, control plus p. you're going to be in a tree view, so arrow down to where it says plugins, and then arrow down a couple more times until you hear, output. now tab into the list of plugins. What we're going to do is make a change to how one of the output plugins behaves. In the list of plugins, choose the one that says nullsoft waveout, and then tab over to the configure button. Window-eyes will tell you all this stuff, so don't worry, you'll know when you get there. Ok, now after pressing the space bar on the configure button, you should be in an area where there are a couple of check boxes. one of them says, volume controle enable. If this box says unchecked, check it with the space bar. now press your tab key once more and you'll hear, volume control alt. setting method slow. You can either check this or uncheck it, either one, doesn't matter. Now that you've done that, tab to the ok button, press the space bar, and then you'll be back in the list of plugins where you were before. nOw, tab until you hear, close button, and press your space bar once more. You should now be able to change the volume independent of software speech. Hope this helps. At 01:56 PM 1/31/2007, you wrote: >Hi guys, > >I'm using WinAmp and Window-Eyes while on the computer.
