Hi everyone. I recently got a new PC. I'm using a creative sound blaster card in it. It works fine but I must have the Mick at 100 percent to get enough gain for recording or talking. My old PC. uses a turtle beach montego II card that's much hotter. With it, I only need to set the recording level at 30 percent to get good level. Anything beyond that is to much and to hot a level. I have 20 DB boost checked on both PC'S. Anyone out there with a sound card that gives allot of headroom like the old turtle beach? I would have used it on the new PC. but there are no drivers for it with XP. Thanks very much. Joe.
