Hi Steve and happy new year.

I've already tried plugging the plug in and it's quite simple.  Like 
yourself, I am hoping to take the cable through a wall to an AV unit. 
However, I also want the Optic Connection to work as an input, as I believe 
it can, in order to record AD soundtracks from SKY, into my computer.  I 
have a leaflet for the card, but this would involve bothering Pauline.  I 
was hoping that perhaps another member on this and the PC Audio list could 
assist me by talking me through the method of swapping the optic from in, to 
out.
