Hi Rick. I have Goldwave 5.12 installed, while the scripts are numbered 5.15. I wouldn't have thought that would create a discrepancy. I guess I'm reluctant to download the current version of Goldwave, which I believe might be 5.17, and do the setting all over again. Your thoughts?
Yes, I'm careful to maximize the Goldwave window. I notice now that insert-pagedown announces the elapsed time as the recorded file plays, but no other information, such as the file's total duration. I wonder if I've mistakenly made a setting that cuts short the status line. Thanks for your tutorials. They're a big help. I created these settings from yet a third tutorial I came across earlier this year. You're definitely not to blame, and undoubtedly nor are the other people who took the trouble to help others learn this program.
