Had a similar problem some time back though I probably took the
cowards way out.
I pressed the reset button, hooked the Iriver up to my computer and
installed a later version of rockbox.

Hello everyone,
I hope someone can help me with this problem. Recently, I loaded the
rockbox
on my i-river hd 340. everything was fine for a couple of weeks. But on
Tuesday, as I was arrowing through songs, the i-river just froze. The
screen
is on, and you can see a list of songs. But nothing happens when you
push
any of the buttons. I tried recharging it but nothing happens. Can
anyone
help?
Thanks.
