Bob, what exactly would you like to know? It has a built-in stereo
microphone and a built-in speaker. It's bigger than the Edirol recorders
and it has XLR inputs. You can only choose between three recording
qualities: 64 KBPS mono, 128 KBPS stereo and PCm Wave 16 Bit stereo. But
128 KBPs stereo seems to sound better than the same quality on other
recorders. One would have to do a bit of menu counting, but if one is
willing to do that, the 660 definitely is usable by a blind person.
However, the Plextalk PTR2 speaks all its menus and the recording level
controls and you cannot only record to cards but also to CDs. It doesn'T
offer a built-in stereo microphone, you'd have to use something like the
Sony ECM-ZS90 conference mike to get similar results with the PTR2.
