First thing you have to do is to know that by connecting a microphone you can record using any recording programm--Total Recorder, Windows Sound Recorder, anything. Once that works, the rest is simple. In the recording properties for your sound card, the same device your microphone is connected to must be checked for service. If you're using a mixer, it's probably line-in. If you're using just a microphone plugged in to the sound card, it's probably the mic setting. In OtsDJ you just press either CTRL/Z or CTRL/M to open the selected microphone input and start jabbering. Hit CTRL/Z (or CTRL/M) to turn it off. You'll notice an annoying echo. This is because you're hearing the microphone channel, whether it's line-in or mic-in, after its audio has been processed by Ots. The amount of delay can be changed, but it'll always be there at some amount. _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This list is a service of MosenExplosion.com.
