Hi Jim, Go to http://www.blindcooltech.com/ And look for Edirol. There are several podcasts that deal with the Edirol. I'd start with the links to Edirol R09 In Depth Review and then Edirol R09 Menus. The first describes the unit physically and the second the menus.

I have to be honest and say that it took a little bit to find things, since I had no idea how to hold it or what buttons did what.
