Peter, I bought my Edirol R09 from Digifishmusic.com in Adelaide.
If I remember correctly, the after sales service was to return the R09 to them if there was a problem in the first 30 days and after that, take the R09 to Edirol. That is not a problem because Edirol/Roland has a significant presence in Australia. I suggest that you send an e-mail to Scott Fisher of Digifishmusic.com and get a price from him. For example, Jerry Richer or the Sound Professionals. However, before you do that, make sure to contact Edirol/Roland in Australia to verify that they will service the unit if you import it. A simple google search will locate the Australian Edirol web page with the contact details.
